Policies and Procedures

General Information : Weekly private lessons are offered in 30 minute sessions. The studio calendar begins in September through early June. Optional summer lessons are available.

Tuition and Payment :  Tuition is charged based upon a 10-month calendar beginning in September and ending in June. The current tuition rate is $800 per academic year, divided into 10 equal monthly payments of $80. The first  tuition payment  is due  by August 1st as a non-refundable deposit to hold a place on the class schedule.

Payments are due on or before the 1st lesson of each month.  Payments may be made by check, cash, or digital auto payment.  Late payments will incur a late fee of $15 if not received by the 15th of the month.  The teacher reserves the right to raise fees at the beginning of each new academic year. Materials may be purchased by the parent.

MISSED LESSONS : Missed lessons may be re-scheduled for another time during the same week, if time is available. No refund of credit will be given for missed lessons that have not been re-scheduled. A flex week is set aside at the end of each semester so that those students who have missed a class that was not re-scheduled during the same week may make-up the lesson.  If for some reason the instructor needs to cancel a lesson, it will either re-scheduled or a credit will be given.
